This afternoon I sat down and said, "I want to work on my comic."
This is what came out.
I'm still not entirely sure of which orifice it came out of, but I had a lot of fun with it, which is really all I can ask for.
As a subtle, BY THE WAY, this entire arc is based on Ragnarok online. One of the problems I had with Ragnarok and, indeed the whole reason why I stopped playing it, was because it lacked a questing system. Maybe it was because I played on bullshit hacked servers, but there was NO point to the game. All you did was wander out into the forest and grind yourself retarded. Of course, near the end of this grind frenzy, you would join a guild (like Biospark's) and proceed to try and own other players in the game by controlling castles where you would plant your guild stone (called an Emperium stone).
Well, even at level 99 you would get your ass handed to you because most of these people went out and grinded more monsters to get super rare drops like cards and armor. I was also told to do this so my character could have better armor, weapons, and buffs than the opposing team. Some of the powers you could get were pretty broken if you grinded enough. But eventually, as with all things, this lost it's charm.
Most of the rest of this comic (That is, THE WHOLE THING) will be based on my experiences with Ragnarok online, mostly because I spent so much time with it. The rest of the comic will probably focus more on Rave and Biospark anyway, and I spent more time with Biospark on Ragnarok than any other game.
