Violence solves EVERYTHING. Instead of actually paying with money, Duk would obviously kill the shopkeeper. I've also had the problem of wanting an archer's weapons as a fighter. It's just, they're so damn cool.
Level with me here. As a white mage I get a staff. Sometimes I get a book. I can't use it because my ATK stat is way to low. Then Biospark walks up with this awesome fucking sword and he's all like: "MAH SWORD DOES 200 DMG!!" And the damn thing is shiny and awesome looking and I look at my own gear and feel like my penis is too small.
Yes, I have SWORD ENVY. I have to have the biggest fucking sword possible. And it has to be shiny and glisten in the sunlight and attract members of the opposite sex.
